Christmas......

Even though I dont celebrate Christmas, it didnt stop me from celebrating it with my housemates+friendsofshakir(carlos, dilip n sibuan)+neighbour=OJ.

First and foremost I would like to rip into Friends Cafe, Melaka Baru. Talk about the biggest rip off of the year. Ok here goes.

I had :

2. Fried Spaghetti = Layman's Terms = Maggi Goreng tak special = RM 9.50
3. Total Ripped Off = RM 14.75
4. Vowed not to ever step in Friends ever in my entire lifetime = PRICELESS

Not to mention other people got ripped off even worse for e.g. Bob.

His measly serving of Meatballs which resembled Goat Droppings in terms of size and color was RM11.50 that he will never see again.

We were so upset, that we decided to go to Rock N Roll Grill Bar. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Now this is where the REAL FOOD came in!!! I had a magnificent NZ Beef Burger+Fries and Salad+Extra CHEESE and a CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE.....*drools* Pictures will come later...just needed to bitch about something.

Oh yeah and Dilip "goreng" with the in-house band. :) that was awesome...heh

Flash Flood....

I was so happy that it was raining for 2 days straight, because it was pretty hot the few days before that, but little did i know that I happiness brought despair to other people. The flash floods were terrible, especially Peringgit, Malim and Tmn Merdeka. The authorities were no where to be seen to direct those who need another route to get to where they want to go. Thank god that our Toyota Unser managed to get through, most of the other cars couldn't make it. There was a time where the Unser nearly stalled though, but thank god it didn't. Though my VW got its fair share of water, going through Tmn Melawis, to get to my FYP partner's house was a fair "swim". My baby got really dirty. Didn't have the chance to wash it till this morning. It is clean now :)

Flu+Cough+Fever=100Plus+Panadol ActiFast

i was having the full blast of a flu, with a bonus fever and all. So i decided to try and break into a sweat by sleeping without the the fan on covered in blankets, to break the fever, but it didnt really work. So my Aunty Jena last time, told me that to cure a fever is very simple: Take one Panadol Actifast and drink it down with a 500ML 100PLus(cold) and whaadddayyyaaa know? within 10mins i was breaking into a massive sweat and the fever was GONE!!Last time i kept on telling Joey(yay she coming back this weekend!!) and the rest to try , but NOO, nobody wants to listen. I was up and about within minutes. Kaze was over also and he was like "hrmmm must remember this next time I have a fever"

Déja Vu

i was pretty skeptical about this movie but after reading reviews from yahoo movies, and saw the trailer, oh mannnnn this movie is a "must watch movie"!! freaking awesome...i fell asleep at Casino Royale for an hour cos it was just that darn boring, so i was trying my level best to stay awake during Deja Vu and boy it was worth it!! so whatcha waiting for peeeeple? go and watch it..the trailer already was good enough to convince me to go and watch it lol

Life stands still....

...without Internet, call me sad if you like, I don't give a rats ass. It has been 13 days our Internet Connection hasnt been working....and counting. Our phone line got disconnected, hence no Internet Connection. Need to transfer StreamyX to our new line....sigh...

but without Internet connection, apparently to Shakir and Bob and Desmond, I have turned into a traitor by packing up my laptop and shipping off to OJ's place to use his internet connection. Nothing is stopping them from packing up their desktop computers and hauling it 7 houses down the road to use his connection?

Now we finally see the use of all those burnt out TV Series that people use to burn. When the Internet Connection is not working, watch those Tv Series. :)

It is 3.27am, I have a dentists appointment at 8.30am and I am still not asleep. Watching the french movie "Amelie". Its about a pretty lady who lives the simplest of lives but enjoys the simplest things that life gives us. Really makes us appreciate what we usually take for granted. A "feel good" movie, you can't help but smile while watching it. It is 3.30am...still no Internet Connection.

its the fasting month, sorta hungry, Ramadhan brings a lotta temptations and what is my dear mummy doing? BAKING PINEAPPLE TARTS!!! arrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh the smell is driving me NUTS and its only 3pm!!!

feeling soooo lethargic...

I am feeling like such a pemalas aka bum(person who does no work; "a lazy bum"....yeah..sounds about right.). I have absolutely nothing to do, except for play games, break fast, follow dad to prayers..(aha you bet i follow) , download endless Tv series, just finished watching Weeds and its just gets better everytime :p strongly suggesting to download and see it for yourself... oh yeah and DOTA, somehow it doesnt bore me. Currently waiting for Bleach and Naruto to be available for downloading.

Took my brother to the 15mins haircut for RM15, and i have to be honest, it does look impressive, the shop and all, my first time going to one. I saw one at Sg Wang but never paid much attention to it, but the one in Tesco Melaka seems nice, might try it :) Still on the lookout for a phone, I am being so fickle minded on which one I want to buy....SE or NOkia(purposely capslocked the NO) lol some people say buy SE some people say buy NOkia, so we shall see which phone my savings can accomondate. I feel the connection has been great since the 2 days no internet connectivity scenario....oh yeah 7 more days till Hari Raya!!! Havent modified my Baju Melayu yet, cos after a few washes, it went outta shape, need to get it modified again....dont wanna wear baggy baju melayu.

finalement....

finally.....its the same feeling after every single semester, my last paper is tomorrow...and then its RAYA MODEE!!! woooooooooohooooooooooooooo, my inner child will be seen running around during hari raya, playing with fireworks, disturbing other cousins, eating grandma's oh so awesome food.

Burger Addiction

mmmmmm yummmyy burger, egg, mayo, tomato sause, lettuce, cheese, beef/chic patty, toasted buns.....

Lately even before the fasting month started, been having this burger craving, everyday is a burger day.

It starts like this "Eh I want Burger..."

Then the choice of either:

1. Grilled Burger - Less Oily, tastes GUUUUDDD, BUT no Egg.
2. OBR Burger aka B****a Burger (you want to know what the * stands for IM me :p) - Normal oily-ness, tastes guuuudd, has egg - cooked with special worchester sauce with pepper...oooohhhh....

But it finishes sooo fast..the other type of burger that we used to eat is RnB Burger at University Apartments....mmmmm but no more deee....it was a "branch" from the Jiki dude, who over plates the burger with baked beans lar, artwork with tomato/chilli sauce and cucumber...I just want a PLAIN BURGER. So one day, i ordered a PLAIN burger from the guy, "Burger Daging BIASA satu" (emphasised on the BIASA....hoping taht it would come in a normal sandwich form.....) but NO...he HAD to lar make it look as if it came out from the Ritz of London, Oxford, with the decorations and all...so off putting....

and now comes around to Chilli's Burgers...oh my god..no words can describe how deliciousoyummyiouso their burgers are.....haih...come to Melaka Chilli's ... come to Melaka...

oh the horror.....

The fact that a stranger invaded your personal space without your knowledge is already quite daunting. What happened was I was sleeping, as usual :) around about 6pm when I woke up looking for my phone, i realised that I cant find it.

Woke up shakir, used his phone to call my phone, it rang twice then engaged.....hrmmmmm...something not right here. Tried again. Engaged. Shakir said check ur wallet for money missing, well what do you know, RM400 MISSING. Oh shit. SPARC's money missing, that was supposed to go to the winners of the dance category of the concert. oh mannnnn. My phone was an O2 Xphone 2.

Made a police report. Assigned an Inspector to come to our house. Just as luck had it, earlier shakir sms'd my phone: "Give back phone, will give u money". Suprisingly enough, the guy CALLED and said his younger brother bought it from school for RM350. YEAH talk abt BULLSHIT. He says he will give back my phone, if I pay him back his RM350. You gotta be kidding me rite?? Pay YOU to get MY PHONE BACK? Police said meet up with him, then they will suprise the guy and interrogate him. The guy didnt turn up. My darling phone is gone forever.........oh yeah SPARC's money too, which I have to pay back. :~(

In Alaska, it is legal to shoot bears. Waking a sleeping bear for the purpose of taking a photo is a crime? - a duuuuuuuhhh! If you wake a sleeping bear, I dont think you'll be taking any pictures!
Albatrosses can sleep while they are flighing? - apparently humans can't sleep while driving, supposedly we may end up in a ditch or longkang or something....
A grizzly bear give birth while in their winter sleep? - oh DAMMMNNN! Imagine waking up to: "Mommy, I need to go peee..." "What the....where did....who...?"
Dolphins sleep with one eye open? - grandma used to do this i guess, prevented me from stealing her cookies
Lions sleeps about 19 - 20 hours a Day? - me must be a lion!! muahaha no la kidding, the most I have slept is about 17hours ... i think.....
Seals sleep only about one and a half minutes each time? - tht's not even sleep...
Ants don't sleep at all? - they are freaking EVERYWHERE, not a suprise they dont sleep....
A snail can sleep for three years? - defler moves so slow no wonder la sleeps so long...
A person will die from total lack of sleep sooner than from starvation. Death will occur about 10 days without sleep, while starvation takes a few weeks. - crap....

• 11.30am :Left for KL at . Took the bus from Bkt Beruang to Melaka Sentral it took OJ and I, 1 hour!! b'cos instead of taking the direct route to Melaka sentral, the stupid bus had to go la to MITC lar, make one more turn round stupid MITC, came back to Bkt beruang then FINALLY went en route to Melaka Sentral, another hour gone.

Finally on the bus to KL.

• 1.30 pm:Nearing KL, after the seremban toll, we started crawling on the highway. Accident on the OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, going SOUTH, KL to Melaka. REASON: Accident: 13car pile up, 1 bus, one Petronas Oil Tanker. Why OUR SIDE was affected?B'cos it went like this:

On lookers: "EH look laa, accident, eh look look..ouiii the bus lar ...bla bla bla"

Oj was complaining cos he didnt get to sit near by the window seat, so as it was STILL crawling, swapped seats. OJ wouldnt let me go to sleep:

Reached Time Square at

• 4.30pm. Bloody Hell. Waited at STARBUCKS, having this wierd new frappucino pumpkin something or rather, for another 30mins for the dude tht was selling OJ his new handphone. Cool new phone, now back to Melaka.
• 6.30pm : On the bus to Melaka. Then the bestest bus ride is about to begin. Somewhere along NILAI, the horror journey began to unfold. The bus came to a stand still. Then it rained. Guess what? its the SAME FREAKING traffic jam caused by the accident happened earlier on during the day!! PLUS efficiency at its best: 4 hours after the accident cars still on the highway.
• 8.30pm: OJ complained that he cant sleep. I continued sleeping.
• 10.30pm: OJ asleep. Its still raining. I am awake. Still on the highway. DOnt know what to do.
• 11.30pm: Reached Melaka Sentral. No town bus available to Bear Hill. Took a taxi.

What an awesome saturday, mostly spent sleeping in the bus.

Finally Anti Smoking Concert is over....

*Lets out a huge sigh of relief*

Thank god the event went pretty smooth except for the minor glitch at the end of the show..(Thank GOD it was at the END...) Too Phat was just awesome and really made the crowd come alive!! All participants were very entertaining!! it all went as planned...*big grin* To all that was NEGATIVE towards this event, you can blow it out your @$$ because we made into THE STAR:METRO Section with a Full Colour Centerfold. Food Bazaar....

Last SPARCFEST food bazaar, i helped out with Waffles...but NEVER AGAIN...oh hell no... and this time, Delifrance booth....waffles was more tiring. Delifrance week went like so:

• 9.15am: Go to Jusco, pick up fresh pastries. While waiting, got a free cup of coffee...heh heh
• 10.00am: Finally all loaded in the mighty SPARC Volkswagen Van, which smelt like a bakery...mmmmm...
• 10.15am: Arrive at Mosque Square, a ton of SPARC committe came and helped unload all pastries...mmmmm...
• 5.00pm: Sold out all pastries or selling off pastries at a steal of a price...must sell all pastries off!!
• 6.30pm: Go to Delifrance settle bill for daily supply of pastries.

Club Registration Week...

I don't think that I have ever been this tired since Miss MMU 2005, real hardwork, and thats ONLY CLUB REGISTRAION WEEK!!

I am starting to sound like a broken tape recorder, repeating the same promotion phrase to every tom, dick, harry, molly, lucy and lulu out there. Slowly developing a sore throat which enchances my broken tape recorder status, with pauses in between to clear my throat. I went to a meeting last night, I was 20mins late, everyone was there...suprise suprise..and I was so sleepy that I didnt realise that I had my shirt on inside out *zZzZzZz*

Sigh, and the weather wasnt helping either,Oj and I were the data entry speacialist, keying in the new members into the excel spreadsheet. We didnt have our normal recruiting magnets so it was sorta slow, but picking up never the less.

2 more days to go till the end of registration and the beginning of the Recovering Through Music promotion.

Birthday n Final Exams,.....not exactly what i call a present...

WoW had a great birthday despite it being in Finals week with mom n dad sending a choc cake to muh hse from Secret Recipe, wasnt really expecting it though hehe. 22 years old you say? I really dont feel it, my 10yo innner child is still up and about..heh heh. I have a paper tomorrow, it sucks having my birthday during final exams...sigh..had like the bestest wishes from all loved ones around me , in different countries heh it was guuuuudd. Btw the cake is nearly finishing though :p i did send my invitations to come n get some cake, to the ones within a 2km radius of muh house hehe. Just finished my Human Machines Architecture finals, and oh my god, the questions were exactly like the ones in the tutorial!! lol man i was lucky this time. The tutor apparently told that dont bother studying only the tutorials cos its gonna be totally different, but I DIDNT KNOW THIS lol so not listening in class makes a difference huh? SO DONT LISTEN IN CLASS ANYMORE lol

Bestest Monday Ever....

I had the bestest Monday ever :p No class, no tutorials, assignments DONE, off to KL. hehe on the way we saw this cat sleeping n So we went to Cyberjaya to send Ash off for her interview and then the fun begins!!! LOL KIDDING ASH :D First had to go to the Iranian Councellor Embassy place thingy in Ampang. Cos Koosha had to settle some stuff. OJ and I were waiting outside, and it was getting boring. So we decided to go in and see what's taking Koosha so long.

So as we made thru the embassy then then then there was this door, that had a no-handphone sign glued on it so we went thru that door but it just lead us to the back garden or something, so we decided that it was not the correct door lol. After finding the correct door, instantly i saw COOKIES!! so sat down first, for like 5 mins then made my move towards da cookies, chocolate chip cookies. :p Then OJ and Koosha was talking abt spot the non-iranian, so it was me DUH, more brown and sporting the mamak nose :p . THEN BEHOLD THE GUY WITH THE AWKWARD JEANS. I tell you it made is ass looked HUGE and I just couldnt let this blog entry opportunity go so easily......i took a picture.......don't worry the guy didnt know i took a picture of him looking like a clown.

Then then we went to Subways for lunch, oh no no forgot abt OJ confirming his air plane tickets but we sent him to the wrong building, where Qatar Airways office was. Anywayyyy, went to Subways AFTER that. I was sooo hungry and by the time it came to order my food, it was all excited, all those topppings and fillings and the bread and the sauce....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....picture below of my deliciouso sandwich. Being the jakun I was, I asked for all the toppings and it looked absolutely delicious! but OJ and Koosha's sandwich was much more user-friendly, easier to handle and eat, cos theirs wasnt so fat~! Mine was overflowing and all with the topppings and sauce...

Then it was off to Low Yat where OJ bought his haddisk n Koosha bought a bunch of CDs and I bought nuthin. COFFEE BEAN n TEA LEAF was awesome and FUNNY!!! As we were drinking our drinks and all (we were sitting by the glass window, seperating inside from the outside) then suddenly this guy sat right outside the glass window. the best part it this dude was balding and his hair was like shaved into this V shape lol...again another picuture....

Then back to Cyberjaya to pick up Ash and here comes another photo taking session there was this big guy lol sardarji dont know why it was funnny, apparently only to me but hey i took his picture too :p

Mission Impossible.......

My weekend was really awesome considering that Ash, Shakir, OJ and
Kooshball n Pejman (I think thats how u spell his name) n Ali Reza
watched MI3. MAN IT WAS NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME. The storyline was
just great.Really kept me at the edge of my seat lol. and DARN THAT
LARGE COKE, it was really going thru me which made me wanna PEE REALLY
BADLY but NO!!!! MIND OVER MATTER....MUST...WATCH...TILL...FINISH...CAN"T...AFFORD...TO...MISS...
ANYTHING~!!!! After the movie was over, oh my god!! The state of the men's toilet was just HORRIFYING, people were lining up INSIDE THE
BATHROOM to use the URINALS and CUBICLES...I just wasn't that brave
nor keen to line up.

So as we made our way down to our getaway car...my van.. (MI3) is
really getting my all hyper, several obstacles came between needing to
go to the bathroom urgently to relieve myself of the 2L coke that i
chugged down and paying the parking ticket. This STUPID GUy, with his
crapped up WIRA, windows rolled down, smoking nicely taking his own
sweet time to pass us cos we needed to get out. My window was open and
so was his, so I shouted "MOOOVEEEEE LARRRRRR~!!!!!!" My voice being
irritatingly shrill and annoying as it is travelled outta the van and
the idiot heard me and turned around. I just took this opportunity and
just dashed outta the parking space, didnt give him enough time to
think that it was actually me shouting to him to get the f*ck outta
the way. AS there was this massive line at the parking cashier counter machine
thingy, Shakir and I decided that we just needed to PEEE, so RAN OUTTA
the basement and went to the bushes outside MP - Burger King area and
then relieved ourselves....PEE OKAY(disclaimer).

What a FUN NIGHT it turned out to be lar, couldnt stop talking about
the movie as we had our supper at a mamak shop called Tiga Rose lol
somewhere near Bkt Cina. We ended up ordering quite a lotta food as
the chicken curry turned out to be great!! heheh.
oooh ooooh before the movie, we were waiting for the time to go into
the cinema at the bowling alley opposite GSC. So many people, people
bowling, people taking pictures, people taking pictures with bowling
balls, lil kids running around (1am dee still notchet sleeping sial~!)

What can I say, I thought this event was going to be a flop, but it was rather "amusing". I know I had fun or what fun that was able to have. One night, as I was playing DOTA, as usual I was oblivious to the world and I pratically ignored anyone who would talk to me. Prem's sofa is always at an angle in his room so he was facing the door and then suddenly he shouted "EH GOT CAT LARR!!" As this was a stupid statement, I told him "Eh dont talk rubbish, we are on the second floor, no cat went pass me also "(my laptop was at the top of the stairs, if anything/anyone were to come up I would know)

Annoyed Prem came out and said that a cat just walked passs and defler went to the kitchen. I still didnt believe him..hehe...but as it turns out that a cat did SLIP BY and was hiding under Shakir's laundy basket hehe. As Prem and I were discussing on how to get it out of the house, Joey caught wind of the situation and just jerked the laundry basket and the cat just ran outta the house....haha.

Two guys were figuring out how to get rid of the cat, and all it took was a BLUR Ah-Moi called Joey to settle the quandry.

Papa called me just now because he was watching Anthony Bourdain on tv and the guy was eating Soup Torpedo. I assume you all know what soup torpedo contains and then he called me half screaming half laughing:

After like dunno how long dee, finally I saw CK and Victor at Summer Night City Prom. Victor looks slightly thinner than last time, CK looks the same to me, then came Sean, apparently has a new nickname, who give osso I don't know, oh yeah mine is Flaming Toad....(long story)...LYDIA CAME!! wooohooo. I tell you ar Lydia, you looked really pretty and we literally had to grab her off her seat and ask her to dance. Alex Oh apa lagi, Suzan nicely sitting there also defler kecop to go dancing. HEHEH I had to dither from VIP table to friends table to VIP table.

Boring lar sitting at VIP table. Our VIP, Dr Eddy Chong was busy eating away, MAN THE GUY CAN EAT!! He had like second helpings of almost EVERYTHING, Mr Syukor on the other hand was busy talking to him about dunno whut. I had to keep Water City Resort VIPs settled.

The food on the other hand, for the normal guests, were not as promised. It was much much less than what we agreed on and some tables were practically starved of dessert.

My Date! - Bavani was my date for the night. Bestest Alpha mate since Early Entrance program and best chat buddy online also! :D This girl can move man on the dancefloor!!! haha Everytime I would escape to their table, she'll be like telling me "Eh no one attending to the VIPs lar, better go back" haha. Just read some of Thye Shin's blog entries, whoa defler really knows how to complain sial!! lol

Pocket Change, man this group was AWESOME. Exceeds expectations lar this group, though not really a Jazz Band but they can perform and their singer, awesomeness!!

Finally!!!

SPARC|FEst and Summer Night City Prom is OVER. A lot of work i tell you a LOT. We were from selling Waffles, Ice Cream, Hot Dogs and Yeos drinks at CLC concourse to decorating from 12am till 7am at Water City Resort the next day, dont really know how we managed to do it all.

I rememberd the aches and pain mixing waffle batter then buttering the waffle cooker, so the batter wont stick but it will stick anyway and then need to spread the waffle with the flavors arrrrgghhh never again i tell you!!! esp the savoury waffles. oh my god it was good business but I honestly dont think I have the energy to go through another round of waffle making from 10am to 6pm with measely 30mins breaks in between. At one time i got soo tired of making waffles, just sat down and instructed juniors on waffle making :p BUT most of the time was teasing Aya on how her waffles dont come out as nice :D

The teasing went to far, Aya came at me with hands smudged with peanut butter, chocolate and butter and just strangled me. =_=" started lar...strangling each other, kicking and punching...everyone watching President and Vpresident fighting, in front of juniors, like small kids in the middle of CLC Concourse LOL!!! Now in the middle of looking for a nice blog skin to change to...sigh soo many to choose from....

I would like to announce my despair that I got blindly fooled by my fellow Pakistani friend called OSMAN!!!! He told me that Rowan Atkinson passed away! Sigh then the movie Keeping Mom came out and I was like...AIKKKSSS!!!! Keeping Mom was extremely funny. Ash, myself, Oj, Marc and Uziee went to see it, Ash and I couldnt supress the laughter anymore and started laughing like total idiots in the cinema filled with people who didnt get the jokes.... =_="

Tehran, Iran, Jan. 07 – An Iranian court has sentenced a teenage rape victim to death by hanging after she weepingly confessed that she had unintentionally killed a man who had tried to rape both her and her niece.

The state-run daily Etemaad reported on Saturday that 18-year-old Nazanin confessed to stabbing one of three men who had attacked the pair along with their boyfriends while they were spending some time in a park west of the Iranian capital in March 2005.

Nazanin, who was 17 years old at the time of the incident, said that after the three men started to throw stones at them, the two girls’ boyfriends quickly escaped on their motorbikes leaving the pair helpless.

She described how the three men pushed her and her 16-year-old niece Somayeh onto the ground and tried to rape them, and said that she took out a knife from her pocket and stabbed one of the men in the hand.

As the girls tried to escape, the men once again attacked them, and at this point, Nazanin said, she stabbed one of the men in the chest. The teenage girl, however, broke down in tears in court as she explained that she had no intention of killing the man but was merely defending herself and her younger niece from rape, the report said.

The court, however, issued on Tuesday a sentence for Nazanin to be hanged to death.

Last week, a court in the city of Rasht, northern Iran, sentenced Delara Darabi to death by hanging charged with murder when she was 17 years old. Darabi has denied the charges.

In August 2004, Iran’s Islamic penal system sentenced a 16-year-old girl, Atefeh Rajabi, to death after a sham trial, in which she was accused of committing “acts incompatible with chastity”.

The teenage victim had no access to a lawyer at any stage and efforts by her family to retain one were to no avail. Atefeh personally defended herself and told the religious judge that he should punish those who force women into adultery, not the victims. She was eventually hanged in public in the northern town of Neka.
