A few months ago... actually I think about a semester and a half ago, shakir forwarded this "best job in the universe" link...turned up to be a survey for condom testers for durex. I filled it out...i was like, what the hell lets see if this actually is worth while... and....like 5 months later... LOOONG after forgetting about this, i get a POS malaysia card in my postbox... so I go over to burn cause I was expecting some protien supplements I had ordered last month... so he drove me to the Ayer Keroh Post office. This Chinese uncle takes a look at the pink card, then looks at my face...then in like 30 seconds comes back with this envelope..I thought I got screwed over by ordering protien online...Instead, my durex buddies sent over free condoms!!
Who's laughing now? =) I already got a job. Take THAT Engineering Degree.

AVG Antivirus VS PC Tools Antivirus
...............and PC Tools Antivirus WON. Hands down.
The problem I had with AVG is that every single folder I would access, it would detect whatever that was in that folder as a Torjan/Virus and will prompt me to Heal/Quarantine/Ignore. Whenever I click Heal, another alert would pop-up saying that another file is infected. Even though I healed the files repeatedly, it will STILL alert me saying that it is a threat and will lead to the file being corrupt and wont allow the program associated with the file to run.
Surfing forums and antivirus websites, finally it came down to PC Tools Antivirus, and it worked real well. Detected the same virus/trojan AVG did, but it got rid of it. Pretty simple and also it monitors any files being changed illegally by any program/software/tool/etc.
I was using Bob's computer and it had the SAME TROJAN....what the hell? it spread through our network? So i did the same for him and got rid of the trojan. At times I wonder, these idiots who have too much free time creating trojans should really be concentrating on something else!

Finance Dept
Went to Finance Dept this morning, sharp at 9am i was there, waited for an hour, along with other students, only to find out from the darling Makcik Guard, that today all Dept's are CLOSED. errr Shouldnt they be OPEN ALREADY? how long of a weekend do they WANT? its already the 2nd day of the new year and they are still closed ......... :) i need to pay my feees laaaaa hurry up and OPEN!!!!

Christmas......
Even though I dont celebrate Christmas, it didnt stop me from celebrating it with my housemates+friendsofshakir(carlos, dilip n sibuan)+neighbour=OJ.
First and foremost I would like to rip into Friends Cafe, Melaka Baru. Talk about the biggest rip off of the year. Ok here goes.
I had :
1. Fruit Fusion Tea = Layman's Terms = Teh O Panas = RM 5.25
2. Fried Spaghetti = Layman's Terms = Maggi Goreng tak special = RM 9.50
3. Total Ripped Off = RM 14.75
4. Vowed not to ever step in Friends ever in my entire lifetime = PRICELESS
Have a Merry Christmas to me!
Not to mention other people got ripped off even worse for e.g. Bob.
His measly serving of Meatballs which resembled Goat Droppings in terms of size and color was RM11.50 that he will never see again.
We were so upset, that we decided to go to Rock N Roll Grill Bar. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Now this is where the REAL FOOD came in!!! I had a magnificent NZ Beef Burger+Fries and Salad+Extra CHEESE and a CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE.....*drools* Pictures will come later...just needed to bitch about something.

Flash Flood....
I was so happy that it was raining for 2 days straight, because it was pretty hot the few days before that, but little did i know that I happiness brought despair to other people. The flash floods were terrible, especially Peringgit, Malim and Tmn Merdeka. The authorities were no where to be seen to direct those who need another route to get to where they want to go. Thank god that our Toyota Unser managed to get through, most of the other cars couldn't make it. There was a time where the Unser nearly stalled though, but thank god it didn't. Though my VW got its fair share of water, going through Tmn Melawis, to get to my FYP partner's house was a fair "swim". My baby got really dirty. Didn't have the chance to wash it till this morning. It is clean now :)

Flu+Cough+Fever=100Plus+Panadol ActiFast
i was having the full blast of a flu, with a bonus fever and all. So i decided to try and break into a sweat by sleeping without the the fan on covered in blankets, to break the fever, but it didnt really work. So my Aunty Jena last time, told me that to cure a fever is very simple: Take one Panadol Actifast and drink it down with a 500ML 100PLus(cold) and whaadddayyyaaa know? within 10mins i was breaking into a massive sweat and the fever was GONE!!Last time i kept on telling Joey(yay she coming back this weekend!!) and the rest to try , but NOO, nobody wants to listen. I was up and about within minutes. Kaze was over also and he was like "hrmmm must remember this next time I have a fever"
Déja Vu
i was pretty skeptical about this movie but after reading reviews from yahoo movies, and saw the trailer, oh mannnnn this movie is a "must watch movie"!! freaking awesome...i fell asleep at Casino Royale for an hour cos it was just that darn boring, so i was trying my level best to stay awake during Deja Vu and boy it was worth it!! so whatcha waiting for peeeeple? go and watch it..the trailer already was good enough to convince me to go and watch it lol

Life stands still....
...without Internet, call me sad if you like, I don't give a rats ass. It has been 13 days our Internet Connection hasnt been working....and counting. Our phone line got disconnected, hence no Internet Connection. Need to transfer StreamyX to our new line....sigh...
but without Internet connection, apparently to Shakir and Bob and Desmond, I have turned into a traitor by packing up my laptop and shipping off to OJ's place to use his internet connection. Nothing is stopping them from packing up their desktop computers and hauling it 7 houses down the road to use his connection?
Now we finally see the use of all those burnt out TV Series that people use to burn. When the Internet Connection is not working, watch those Tv Series. :)
It is 3.27am, I have a dentists appointment at 8.30am and I am still not asleep. Watching the french movie "Amelie". Its about a pretty lady who lives the simplest of lives but enjoys the simplest things that life gives us. Really makes us appreciate what we usually take for granted. A "feel good" movie, you can't help but smile while watching it. It is 3.30am...still no Internet Connection.
NB: I am typing this at home, after this, later on today I am going to OJ's house, log into Blogspot and post this as my blog entry. :)
